Veterinary bills are never anyone’s favourite things to receive, however, things are being tweaked at SWE to hopefully make the bill paying system easier for all. Read on for an explanation of our account types and when to expect a bill after a veterinary service.

‘Pay on Day’- This means pay on the day an invoice is received. All new client automatically are added as ‘Pay on Day’.

We can sometimes be sending these out a few days (or longer) after the service has occurred, but this account type means that payment is expected once invoice has been received.

‘Special Payment Terms’- this account type is to be discussed with the clinic on a case-by-case basis, we appreciate that sometimes vet bills can be expensive and want to help clients to manage them. If you are a ‘special payment terms’ client, you will be on this account type until your bill is paid off and then your account will be reverted to ‘Pay on Day’. Special payment term accounts are also required to pay for productsincluding medications, on the day they receive them.

‘Monthly Account’- monthly accounts require an application form to be filled out and sent to the finance department for approval. Once they have been approved the account must stay within 30-day terms. If you are struggling to keep up with your account, please contact the clinic to discuss and reach a solution.

If there is any questions or concerns about accounts or payment terms, please contact the clinic to talk to Hannah, our Clinic Coordinator. If you are struggling with payments we want to help you, and we also can also discuss other options such as Vet-Pay.
