Building Update
We are very excited with the progress of our new location on the corner of Park and Grafton Streets. The brand new building will feature a fixed crush for standing procedures and a knock-down box for procedures requiring general anesthesia. There will be two indoor boxes for treating critically ill horses with IV fluids, as well as several outdoor yards to house horses staying for day procedures.
The clinic will also provide a venue for more advanced imaging such as radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, and ophthalmic examinations. A retail area will be stocked with products to meet all of your horse health needs.
The building is expected to be completed in June 2018, so keep an eye out for the date of our Grand Opening!

Michael Wraight
Southwest Equine Veterinary Group were also proud sponsors of the Warrnambool Lattes riding for A Big Life project. Our own Dr. Michael Wraight participated in the Murray to Moyne cycling relay from Mildura to Port Fairy. The group raised money – with the support of many generous local businesses – for the local charity A Big Life, which is all about helping young people in the district to focus on their futures and helping to equip them with the skills to navigate life’s ups and downs.
